| CONGRATS SHEL AND RAY!!!
Thank you Lord for blessing my sister with this man!!! I praise You for Your provision and watchcare over them thus far...may You watch over them and guide them through this super exciting time in their lives as they continue to learn more about each other and grow in You. I'm so excited that You've created them to be a perfect fit for one another and I pray that You would use them and allow them to glorify Your name together with one voice and one love!

| to SF and back in 24 hours...
what was supposed to be a nice full weekend up in SF turned into more of a spur of the moment one day adventure! I woke up at 4:00am saturday morning and drove to my friends' house to leave only to find out that plans were changed and we were no longer going. great. back to bed i went. then, waking up at a more decent hour, we phone conferenced in attempt to find something to do that was equivalent to a road trip...but to no avail. we were all just bummed that we didn't go. well, when we finally all met up, we sat for a total of about 20 minutes before agreeing, what the heck, let's just go! despite the short time, we crammed enough in to make it seem like it was longer. thanks to darren and timland for money directions to the gg bridge, our first destination at 12:30am. lombard street then sleep came next, then breakfast at the buena vista, pics on cable cars, and shopping.
total travel time: about 12.5 hours...total time in SF: 13 hours...was it worth it? totally!

| what a happy THANKSgiving!
thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays cuz i get to do 2 things i love...cook and eat! haha. The fun began around 10:30 and then just didn't stop! After hours of kitchen creativity, the food was ready to be devoured. After eating the REAL fun began...we played some hands of fake poker and blackjack, which only made me want to play spades! seeing as it was just my 2 cousins and me, i taught them how to play and acted as both of their partners. lucky for us, favorite and same came to the rescue! oh how spades is hours of endless fun!
black friday
sooooo...i went on my first (and probably last) 5am black friday adventure with aim and blane. we were just hanging out after our spades extravaganza, and before we knew it, it was 3am! out came aimee's suggestion that we go to best buy because we were still up and "just so we can say we did"...it was not completely addressed though cuz i dont think we actually thought we'd still be up when the actual time came around. but oh...we were. we left at 4:40 and thought we'd be able to walk right in when it opened. um...who the heck knew that black friday was so dang crazy?!?! an ominous line that wrapped around the parking lot and down the street made us drive slowly by, ogle at the people, and then continue on our way. we ended up going to target, waiting in line for 40 minutes for it to open at 6, snatching up our hefty purchases of dvds, a toy, and a tv, and were back home by 7. what a night...
  
the adventure begins! it's FREEZING! (and check out the line!) all our great finds =)

| Two highlights of my week:
meeting drew barrymore at the huntington library! (whilst celebrating my mom's bday)
and best of all...seeing kendall at trunk or treat! oh how i love that boy!
lotsa stuff going on...school, internship, church, and friends. if i were the type of person to write a qualitative entry, i would...but i'm not. haha! i guess a better update will come soon!
